Betty Nygaard King Betty Nygaard King (1955- ), author of "Hell Hath No Fury: Famous Women in Crime" (2001, Borealis), developed a fascination with famous women eons ago when she read a children's book on Florence Nightingale. King, who lives with her husband in Ottawa, has worked behind the scenes as a writer and editor for many organizations, and currently divides her time between writing and teaching piano.
